​​Taking the TSI Assessment​
Retesting After Registration
If you retest and earn college-ready scores in one or more TSI areas before the first class day of the semester:
- You must provide proof of scores before dropping your developmental course work.
- You must email TSI@shsu.edu requesting to drop your developmental course work.
- If you contact us after the first day of class, you may be unable to be dropped from your developmental course work.
If you retest and earn college-ready scores in one or more TSI areas after the first class day of the semester:
- You must provide proof of scores before stopping attendance.
- The state regulated refund policy will be in place.
- You should understand the ramifications of dropping below 12 hours for financial aid/insurance/prerequisites.
- Â鶹ÌìÃÀ¹û¶³´«Ã½ strongly encourages you to remain in your developmental class to provide a stronger base in the respective remedial area.
